Semi Transparent Chart Function
Hi-since I haven't seen a way to make the CCI line pop better when it crosses the thicker threshold lines: https://www.screencast.com/t/FBFuPDNF5 I thought I would post to see if anyone else has a solution to this. (I mean it as a charting function-not the indicator line)...On other platforms I've used there is a semi-transparent function that can soften the peripheral lines so that the main CCI line can be seen better as it crosses these thresholds...darker lines didn't fix this...thanks for any help with this...

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your post.
If the included CCI doesn't suit your needs, you may be able to find a user-created and third party version that does. I'd suggest doing a search with an online search engine for 'ninjatrader CCI indicator' and going through the results. I will also leave this thread open for other users to see if any of them have recommendations.

No Zachary I meant the actual ability for a line to be in front of and visible and not hidden behind the horizontal lines...that is a charting function and not an indicator function I was asking about-sorry if it sounded confusing-thanks for feedback though...Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Zachary View PostHello Paul,

Hello plemal,
Thank you for your reply.
In your screenshot, I can see that the indicator plot is obscured by some of the lines. That's not normally how the standard CCI that's included with NinjaTrader works, as the z-order is hard-coded into it and the indicator plot is always set to be in front of the horizontal lines. Are those thick horizontal lines additional lines that you drew over the top of the panel? If so, you can change the z-order of the indicator to be in front of the drawings. You may read about how to change z-order at the link below;
