Issue with accurate data from IB

I've noticed that pretty often NT7's Lows or Highs are different from the IB platform, such as some trades were made but no tick data. Is this a normal behavior or could it be fixed?

Hello pstrusi,

When connected to IB the data provided to NinjaTrader has an X millisecond update interval for real time data however this updated interval is not seen within TWS charts therefore you may see different data real time due to the update interval when comparing chart data between the two platforms.

Keep in mind the historical data recorded to the IB servers does not have this update interval applied therefore if your right click in your chart and select "Reload All Historical Data" you should then see the same data when comparing the High and Low values for historical chart data.

The only workaround is to connect to a data provider updates real time. If you are looking for a data provider only for real time and historical data I recommend using Kinetick: (Our Preferred Data Feed Service Built Specifically for NinjaTrader) which provides historical Tick, Minute and Daily data for Equities, Futures and Forex.
