Ninja crash while switching workspace

Hi Support,

While I was switching between open workspaces Ninja 6.5.1000.7 crashed. Attached please find the trace file part of it. I hope support can find the cause and fix the problem.

Was this a one time occurence or can you reproduce this reliably?

I checked with development and they suggested that this is usually related to a corrupt .NET installation.

Please uninstall .NET 2.0 via Windows Add/Remove programs and re-install it.

Thanks Ray. I am on windows vista 32 bit. Basic question,in Vista,..in ControlPanel--> ProgramFeatures window,..I do not find .NET.

Do I need to turn on some vista feature or enable something so that I can find it and able to uninstall it.

From Ninja --> Help ,..I see the .NET version I have is 2.0.50727.1434

Also can you please provide me a download link to the .NET recommended version.

Hi Jason,

I went through the link you provided,it describes on .NET repair, but am not sure it says how to uninstall .NET completely. Also from the link it describes .NET as core part of vista. Do you think I need to uninstall .NET completely?

I restarted my ninja after the crash, and it is working fine now.

Any tests I can run to check if my current installed version of .NET is good or corrupt? From Ninja --> Help ,..I see the .NET version I have is 2.0.50727.1434

Hi RK,

Unfortunately it is not possible to uninstall .NET if part of the OS; you would need to re-install Vista completely.

I suggest to perform the same steps that produced the error message before; switch between workspaces and check if the error persists.

If not, you should be fine. If the error recurs, please follow the instructions in the link provided and check again.
