IB volume charts only load data for the day I open the chart. reload historical data is not an option. Is it not possible to get previous volume data from IB?

Tradestation data when i try and open a minute chart with the TS feed I only get todays data I have the days back set correctly and I have added the eld to the the same interval tradestation chart. Reload historical data is greyed out for me. Is there no way to get this data? I would like to get tick or volume data also this way. Do I have to have a chart in TS that corresponds with each interval I wish to see in nijatrader charts?

I am wondering if zenfire data would be a better suit Would I be able to pull up historical tick data using zenfire?

Tick data is used to create volume charts. Unfortunately historical tick data is not supported with IB as you can see at the link below.

The TradeStation data feed does not support historical data. However, you can import historical data using the instructions at the following link.

You can only use 1 minute charts to import historical data.

Zen-Fire does support historical tick data.
