Removing Old Instrument Data

Hello.

What is the proper way to remove instrument data from expired contracts from the NT database? I need to free up some storage space.

To delete historical data saved in NinjaTrader:

1. Left mouse click on any node available in the Edit tab of the Historical Data Manager to select it.
2. Right mouse click and select the menu item Delete or press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard to delete all data contained in the node.

Hi Jason.

I have deleted some data from under the "Edit" tab, but I still see an issue.

I see some data under my ..\NinjaTrader 7\db\data\.. folders that I do not see under the "edit" tab of the historical data manager.

I am attaching pictures of that folder data and what my "edit" tab is showing me.

How do I delete that folder data if not displayed under the "Edit" tab?

The db-->data folder contains Market Replay data which does not show under the Historical Data Manager-->Edit-tab.

While NinjaTrader is shut down, you can delete the entire db-->data folder or folders within the db-->data folder in Windows.
