    Hello designer01,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    It looks like it's currently showing in points on your chart, rather than currency. You will want to change the PnL display unit on your charts to 'Currency' rather than it's current setting. You may change it by hovering your mouse over the Chart Trader panel, right-clicking and selecting 'Properties'. From within the Chart Trader Properties window, you will want to change the 'PnL Display Unit' property from it's current value to 'Currency', and select Apply and OK.

    I've included a video to demonstrate for your reference;

    Alternatively, you may simply left-click on the PnL display until it shows you the PnL in currency.

      Hi Zachary, Thanks that solved it. Question, how do I set the default as currency? Also can I set a default account for Ninja Trader?

        Hello designer01,

        Thank you for your reply.

        1. To save 'Currency' as the default selection;
        • Hover your mouse over Chart Trader
        • Right-click and select 'Properties'
        • Ensure that 'Currency' is selected as the PnL Display Unit
        • Select 'preset' in the lower right corner of the window
        • Select 'save'
        Now, each time that you enable Chart Trader, 'Currency' will be selected as the PnL Display Unit. However, you will still need to manually change this for instances of Chart Trader that are already enabled as this will only affect new instances of Chart Trader. I've included a brief video to demonstrate the above process;

        2. There is not a method to save a default account selection for Chart Trader. This is intended as somewhat of a security measure to make sure that you do not inadvertently place live trades when first enabling Chart Trader. With that said, with any instances of Chart Trader or other order entry windows that you already have open, you can save the account selection as part of the workspace by selecting your preferred account from the 'Account' drop down, then going to the Control Center > Workspaces and saving your workspace. So long as the window is open, the account selection will persist.

        You'll also want to make sure that 'Start in global simulation mode' is deselected from Control Center > Tools > Options > Trading.

        Please let us know if we may assist you further.
