Order cancellation

If I establish a position, say ES 03-22 at 4340.00, with a market order, and following that I submit a limit sell order and a stop sell order for the same symbol, and then manually close the position that I opened with the market order, then the two exit orders automatically cancel. Is that the way it is supposed to work?

I see now that if I execute a market sell order to close the position instead of closing the position on the Positions tab, the exit orders stay in effect.

Hello,

This would be expected when using the close button, as this closes your position and cancels any pending orders on the instrument. If you wish to keep the other orders open you would need to manually submit an order to close your position. For instance, if long 3 contracts you would need to submit a sell order for 3 contracts.
