External Feed from Tradestation

    External Feed from Tradestation

    I need to switch computers so I could use a different version of Tradestation. I have used the external feed for years, but I am not receiving data on the NT platform even though I'm showing connected on the Tradestation side. I know about symbol mapping. It is the same as on the machine I use every day. The external feed is selected.

    What can I be overlooking?

    Are you receiving any particular errors in your log tab of the control center? If so, what do they say?

    Additionally, can you please confirm that all of the steps have been followed in our Help Guide regarding tradestation integration?

      Yes, I have followed the setup, which I have done many times. I know I have comm between TS and NT platforms because the connected function is returning the proper value. I also have other computers with the same setup and my NT platform is getting the data. Also, on the NT platform I have the green connected box in the lower left.

        Thank you for your note.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 3458095" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
