Extending a line while constraining the angle?

I often draw trend lines on a chart which sometimes go back beyond the current view.

I'm finding it difficult to extend them without the angle changing, causing the line to become inaccurate.

Is there a modifier key I can use while extending a line to constrain the angle (ctrl, alt, shift etc)?

Hello,

I am sorry, this is not supported. You can't only extend the line by moving the end anchor point, which it sounds like you are doing already.

You may want to experiement with the ray which automatically extends the line so you do not have to modify it after it is set.

Thanks. The ray seems to be the equivelant of the trendline tool in MT4. It looks to be the answer.
