Charting of historical data for 1 minute Forex EURUSD currency

Here's the scenario.

I'm opening a Forex EURUSD chart, with a 1 minute interval setting and the range settings going back 300 days with the last day set to today.

I actually do have data displayed for the last 300 days in 1 minute intervals so you think all would be well.

However, I find this confusing. I haven't imported historical data into NT. I didn't start using NT until a couple of months ago. The only two data connections that I have set up is with Gain Capital and MBTrading. In the NT help guide, it states that Gain only has 1 minute historical data for the last 24 hours and MBTrading doesn't have 1 minute historical data. So what is being displayed?

When you create an acount connection for GAIN, there is access to historical data. So it's likely the data comes from here.

Thanks for reply. I would say that the documentation is misleading.
