    Zenfire Amp Futures Ports

    Greetings,

I'm having a problem connecting to the Amp Futures data feed from Zenfire.

I can connect when not at my office but as soon as I connect to the office network I can no longer connect and get a failed to login error.

I have requested a list of the ports that need to be opened by the firewall and have had the IT Dept open those ports for me. But even with these ports opened, the software will not connect. The ports I was told to open for the Zenfire feed were:
    64100
    65000
    56000
    45454

Are there additional ports that need to be opened to use the software?

    Thanks,

    Hi David,

You might want to contact the network administrator at your office. It could be you're behind a corporate firewall.

      I am behind a firewall.
I have contacted the IT Dept at my office.

I had them open the ports suggested by Ninja and Amp Trading.

That did not seem to make any difference.

Are there other ports that need to be opened?
Obviously those were not the correct ones or there are additional ones?

        Hi,

I've consulted with development and they do not know. They advice to contact Amp about this.

I'm having a similar problem with a client who is behind a corporate firewall. I have been given the same port numbers by zenfire as quoted in the opening post. These relate just to the data feed, though. For full functionality the corporate firewall needs to be set up to allow the NinjaTrader application to have 'full access' with no restrictions otherwise there will be no joy.

If im not mistaken connecting to Zenfire is one thing which you possibly have access to now that the those ports are open.

The login failed error you are getting is from Ninja Trader. Ninja connects to the Ninja server first of all to check the license this is where i am having issues too at the office too,
This is a job for Ninja to advise what ports are needed to allow ninja to verify the license.

NinjaTrader itself connects to standard web address via HTTP protocol through whatever port is defined for internet browsing on the target PC (Port 80 by default) to connect to its license server to verify the license you have entered.
