Selling the bid price and buying the offer price difficulties

Hi Ninja Trader Administrator,

I hope this message finds you well. I have quick question about the
static superdom. I currently use the static superdom to trade
five-year note and ten-year note futures on the ecbot exchange. I use
only limite orders. However, I noticed that some problems arise when
I try to sell the bid price or buy the offer price. When I try to
sell the bid price, my limit order appears, but the order is not
immediately executed. Also, when I try to buy the offer price, the
limit order appears but does not immediately execute.


My concern is that if I put in this type of limit order, I may miss
the prices that I want. For instance, if I see that I want to sell
the TY bid price, and the quantity is 10, my limit order will go in.
However, if a person immediately sells all 10, I will presumably miss
my price even though I was willing to sell at that price much earlier.

Am I using the wrong type of limit order?

I believe I just answer this question in our support queue.

Basically the exchange/market dictate how and how fast the order is filled. Check your log tab for partial fills.
