Chart Display Lagging Price

Hello - I m wondering how to determine what the cause might be for a speed issue that I am experiencing. It occurs at open and various times during the day. The chart display falls behind the data feed by as much as 10-12 seconds. The data feed keeps up, the chart falls behind. This issue has not occurred as severely as this until the last 2 weeks. I realize volatility has picked up.

What can I do to determine the cause? I am on a VPS Windows server designed for trading. I upgraded my processor and memory last week. I have been running the performance monitor and CPU, Memory, Disk and Network are not stressing. I have a fast internet connection at home and it is hard wired to my cable modem, so it is not wireless. I am trying to determine if it is an indicator by putting them on 1 at a time.

I also notice that when an order is placed using Chart Trader it also pauses the chart display and the data feed for 1-2 seconds.
Any suggestions about how to diagnose the issue?

Thank you for your post.

From what you are describing you may be experiencing rendering delay which may occur when your platform is not able to calculate the incoming information fast enough to keep up with the live market.

This may occur due to several factors such as having too many workspaces open, inefficient 3rd party indicators applied, or a workspace this is too complex for your computers hardware to keep up with with higher market volatility.
