transferring to new computer

I have a sim version of NT7 on my pc. I want to transfer this to a new laptop. I also have a lifetime license key for live trading. If I delete the sim key and insert my lifetime license key then do a backup and restore to a flash drive will the version of NT7 on my new laptop keep all my preferences and allow me trade live?

thanks. 1 last question. before I restore files on new laptop must I download NT7 from the NT website or will restore upload the entire NT7 platform along with all preferences?

Yes you'll need to install NinjaTrader 7 on the new PC before you're able to restore the backup. However you won't need to add any additional information.

You can download NinjaTrader 7 by following the instructions below:

• First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Under 'Prior Releases' select the version next to 'NinjaTrader 7' to begin your download.
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
