I am working on a strategy that will trade Forex w/ MBTrading.
My understanding is that NT uses the bid price when charting a currency pair.
However, when I compare the NT currency chart to the bid/ask price on the MB Trading Navigator screen, the current price on the NT chart skips between showing the bid and ask price, depending on what value was most recently updated.
This concerns me as the bar includes the range of both the bid and the ask price.
Just to check, I disconnected with MBTrading and then connected with Gain Capital. The current price seemed to always match the currency pair's bid price. So if nothing else there is inconsistency on how the current price works with different data sources.
Background info: I'm in simulator mode and am using NT version 6.5.1000.7. I'm connected to MBTrading with no backup data feed connection. I've tried more than one time increment and also more than one currency pair. It works the same.
