Different time zone

I am in Australia using Ninja 7. The date showing on USA instrument charts is the Aus date. That is not correct. For example, last close in US was 30/6/2021 but my Ninja chart shows 1/7/2021 for that bar.

This is the case for any US instrument i have checked.

I looked for a Ninja setting to change but I cannot find one.

Needless to say I don't want to change my computer date settings as that would impact so many other things.

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, NinjaTrader 7 was designed to use your PC's date/time settings. There is not a universal time zone setting that can be applied. In NInjaTrader 8, however, you can change the platform time zone to make it different than the time zone of your PC.

If I upgrade will I likely hit any issues? I have a number of custom indicators. Are there posts on that.

If I do hit issues can I revert back to NT7?

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, items like Workspaces, Chart templates, NT7 based indicators/Strategies, and other UI based items will not migrate to NinjaTrader 8. I have provided you with a link below that will display items that will and will not be migrated to NinjaTrader 8.

You can always revert back to NinjaTrader 7 if you wish.
