Switching Accounts when using an automated strategy

Hello. I've got a question about switching accounts when using an NT automated strategy.

I'm running an automated NT strategy. I've turned off global simulation mode. How do I make sure that the platform is connected to the TST account? Should I just open a super DOM, hit the dropdown, and click on "top step trader (My other account) ". Or is there something else I should be doing when using an automated strategy?

Thanks for your post.

Can you clarify if you mean ATM Strategies which are submitted manually with the profit target and stop losses applied automatically, or a NinjaScript strategy coded to place orders on your behalf?

If you mean ATM strategies, then yes- the Order Entry window you are using will contain an Account dropdwown menu that you will want to ensure has your account selected, and the ATM strategy desired is selected in the Atm Strategy dropdown in the same window.

Thank you for your reply.

To make sure your strategy is running on the correct account you will want to create a new instance of the strategy and make sure it's set to that account in the strategy parameters.

For example, if you have a strategy running on Sim101, you will want to remove that strategy from the chart/control center and set up a new instance for the live account.
