I set up a new subscription to Nymex through IQFeed last Friday which IQFeed have confirmed to me has been been connected through my account from this morning.
I want to set up a chart with Crude expiring in December which the NT Instrument Manager has listed as CL 12-08. On the NT Instrument Manager I have listed CL 12-08 on the Instrument list. The Exchange is listed as Nymex and the Expiry is listed as 12-08.
But a new 1 minute chart for CL 12-08 which I opened up one hour ago shows no candles and just 2 dashes (like this: -) from 1400 hours this afternoon. So I am obviously not connected properly.
Can you please help?
16:34 : I finally found out from IQFeed that I needed to amend their symbol under Edit/Misc in Instrument Manager from CL to QCL. I'm now getting a perfect feed for Crude. Hope this info might be of some help to other members encountering the same problem.........
