Latest NT Update

Hey Guys.

I have an issue with the latest version of NT.

My Desktop = v6.5.1000.6
My Laptop = v6.5.1000.7 (just upgraded).

Prior to the update, both versions plotted Range Bars the exact same. Now, the latest version plots range bars in a fast, erratic manner (or so it seems).

I am using MBTrading, with the proper Tenth Pips setup in the options.
Both computers are identical in trade setups.
I uninstalled .7, deleted all NT folders, and reinstalled .7 again. The incongruity still persists.

I have attached two images. _PC1 is my desktop, _PC2 is my laptop. I zoomed in to a really bad time zone on _PC2 to show the issue.

In checking the release notes for .7, I found the only thing changed for MBTrading is :

Fixed 2565 MBT Adapter - Trade events could be incorrectly filtered

Any ideas why this is behaving differently from v.6 to v.7?

Not sure about the Range Bars ... but prior to .7 MBT trade events had been filtered (=bug). Only .7 would report ALL trades as submitted by MBT.

Range bars implementation itself has not changed.

What trade events were filtered in the past that are no longer filtered?

Are the charts now being updated on both bid and ask?

I use MB Trading as well...

I am having this same issue, as well as connectivity issues (about 3 min max before I get an error message, with or without charting).

I use MB Trading as well, trying to revert back to .6 for the time being.
Please post any solutions or information here as well.

On the bid/ask issue: do you experience it only for FOREX instruments or for stocks/futures as well?

Bear with me, I will check that, as that could very well be the case.
I've had trouble staying connected to MB Navigator (without NinjaTrader) when viewing futures quotes, so the problem may first begin with MB Navigator. I get an error msg that is has encountered a problem and must shut down, every 4-6 min). NinjaTrader when running, just copies that problem, but I think somehow this is related to MB Navigator first.

- your connectivity issues
- wacky trade data as reported by mrlogik

I'm concerned about the wacky trade data, since there could be a bug. Would be great if you check if you have a similar picture to what mrlogik posted initially on stocks/futures.

I suspect the issue ONLY is on FOREX instruments...

OK here's what I know...

MB Trading is aware that there is a bug "regarding depth of market on CME quotes (futures)". I pointed out that I was seeing double trades reported to the ticker, even if Trades Only (preference in Navigator), was selected. Every trade price for futures were a pair (not normal).
The response above is what they gave me. I don't have access to Forex so I don't know what's happening there.

With Equities everything seemed fine, I could stay connected and trades were reported correctly.

Something is buggy on MB Trading's side, as I couldn't stay connected for more than 4 min without their program crashing when viewing futures quotes, again Equities were fine. NinjaTrader crashes probably for the same reason for me, but it's not the root of the problem.

I'm not sure, I've used both Ninja and MBT's software for almost 2 years now. MBT's futures quotes were down all yesterday, today they are up but buggy...somehow that is the nature of the problem. They couldn't solve my problem, or reproduce what was happening to me.

mrlogic: I believe we resolved your issue. Please:
- uninstall 6.5.1000.7
- clear your browser cache (important)
- install latest custom build here: https://www.ninjatrader-support.com/...er.Install.msi

Yes if you trade currencies on MBT. If not, then it would not make any difference
