Backend bug - HSI settings?

Hi

I use NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.42.

There seems to be a backend bug which regularly resets the settings for Hang Seng Index future wrongly.

Unprompted, for HSI, the bug repeatedly sets the "Tick size" to 0.01 and "Point value" to 1 when the correct figures should be 1 and 50.

I have to use Instrument Manager to edit the numbers again each time this happens.

Strangely, after the correct figures have been inputted, they will revert to the wrong numbers as above after a while. Each time this happens, charting is messed up.

UPDATE: The same bug affects 10-year Bund futures (FGBL) when the "Point value" is reset to a wrong 1 (correct number: 1,000).

I'd appreciate it if the NinjaTrader tech people could look into this.

On version 42, I am seeing these as 1 and 50 on my end.


I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "3069597 ATTN Marco G" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.

Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.
