Market Replay Data faulty

Hi,
I recently updated NT7 to version 42 because I discovered I wasn't able to download any more market replay data from your servers unless I updated NT7.

I was able to do so post the update but the files are 1) really chunky; 2) provides level 2 data which not everybody wants, 3) is very slow in updating the downloaded file even though the platform says the file has been downloaded. I don't require level 2 data. is there any way I can avoid downloading the data?

I also just discovered by accident an issue with the market replay data. If you download the same data for the same date again, the files increase in size. Take for example some ES 03-21 market replay data I downloaded today for Dec 29, 2020. I had previous downloaded it a week ago.

The nt2 file went from 26971kb to 54970kb and the ntm file went from 16691kb to 33413kb. When I downloaded the same instrument one more time, the nt2 file went from 54970kb to 82969kb and the ntm file went from 33413kb to 50136kb. And it automatically updated itself again!!!. NT2 file now 110968kb and NTM file now 66858kb!

I had similar issues with NQ 03-21 and RTY 03-21 and the issues are also present on Dec 30, 2020 and Dec 31, 2020. I do not know how many more days are affected by this issue.

Could you please help with this problem?

Hello Kay Wai,

Unfortunately it is not supported to download only L1 Market Replay data in NinjaTrader 7. It will load both L1 and L2 data.

Please avoid loading the same day multiple times to avoid the increase in file size. I suggest to delete the affected files while NinjaTrader is shut down and then load new data just once.
