What is the use of Account.Orders.OutstandingQuantity?

I would like to know what is the use for Account.Orders.OutstandingQuantity.Thanks in advance.

The property OutstandingQuantity is not a documented property. This may be used internally however I don't have any type of detail on what this is specifically used for. Using the Account directly in NT7 was never documented/supported so the properties on that object will very likely be undocumented/unknown what they do.

Was there some concern surrounding using this property or were you trying to do a specific task involving order quantities?

Yes in this case I am not certain if that would be a good way to check that value or not because its undocumented. Since we have no information on that property it would likely be in your benefit to check the orders yourself by looping through them and checking the status. I don't know of any samples on this topic for NT7, this would be something you can do in a supported way from NT8.
