    New strategy showing position in sim101 account that does not exist

    Cannot find this position in the sim101 account and strategy won't execute new trades until the account is flat. How do I clear this?

    Please reset the sim101 account at Tools-->Options-->Simulator-tab. More information can be found at the link below.

        And doing that hangs my entire environment. Must kill NT to proceed...

          Please see the link below for performance tips.


          Reduce the amount of indicators on your charts, set "Calculate on bar close" to True, close other NinjaTrader windows you are not using upon running your automated strategy and check if this will make a difference.

            Please don't try to justify this behavior. If there are conditions where some action could potentially freeze the entire environment, as a programmer, I should be checking for that before proceeding.

            I have done every optimization possible. There is nothing unusual about my environment or what I am requesting to do.

              Could you please send me your workspace file that freezes upon running the automated strategy as well as the strategy itself. Please send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and reference this forum thread.

              You can find the file at the following location:
              My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->workspaces

              You can export your strategy using the instructions at the following link.
