Issues importing indicators

Hi Guys

For some reason everytime i try to import indicators from the indicaotrs zip file it does not show the files.
I do exactly as it says and downlaod to desktop and can see file there, but when I go thru the process of importing through control centre, i click on the folder and there is nothing in it, yet when I click on it straight off the desktop all files are there.
Driving me crazy, prob simple solution, can someone pls help.

Upon importing the .zip file via File-->Utilities-->Import NinjaScript, please only highlight the .zip folder and subsequently click Open.

When importing Indicators, must they be imported in a particular sequence in order for them to display correctly?

You can import indicators in any sequence you want.

I had the same problem. You can't save straight to the desktop. They need to be placed in a folder first on the desktop for it to work. If you save the indicator on the desktop with no folder it will not find it.

I also had error messages the first time. I had to uninstall the current ninjatrader. Then manually go through and delete any and all files that were from ninjatrader. Then after that do a new install.

Indicator not showing up in drop down menu

I successfully compiled an indicator I customized but it does not show up in the indicator drop down menu so I can put it on a chart. How do I get it to show up with all the rest of the indicators? It does exist in the same directory with all the other indicators. The file ends in .cs

I appreciate your rely but that is actually the wrong answer. You have to export the indicator first then bring it back in with import. I had simply taken the stock Stochastic Indicator and copied and pasted it into a new wizard template and made my customizations, compiled and saved. While it showed up in the proper directory, Ninja couldn't see it until it came in through import. And I couldn't import it until I exported it first. It's all good now. Thanks
