Sim vs Zenfire

a) are there any error messages in the log?
b) I''ll check it out on Zen as markets are open. Did you experience any trouble against sim feed?

A)
No errors in log.
B)
Sim feed no problems, Zenfire ... problems.

Wow.

This happens on two machines that I have.

Perhaps there is an update that I have not applied?

I will download and install latest version and try to reproduce again.

Oh ... one other thing ... the price to watch is ES 12-08 ...that is the one that freezes ... IMPORTANT!!!

None of the prices froze on my test.

We will have new release 6.5.1000.7 out within the next few days. I suggest retrying after that release is installed.

Wait a while

It takes a while for the problem to show up.
Make the program loop for onger.
I did notice that the price and Bid ask would update within the areas where the program was started ... over time the price moves away from when the price was subscribed at ... that is when the problem presents itself.

For example if the program starts and ES 12-08 is trading at 920 ... the price will move up and down around that price ... if laster the last price moves down towards 915 for example the price will cease to update as well as the market depth information.

If the price moves up and down within the area where the price was subscribed at the problem is not evident.

The application does reproduce the problem correctly.

Sorry, I could not reproduce. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do for now, unless there would be more info available which helped us understanding the issue.

This price froze at exactly the value of 922.50 ... which is what the last traded price was at that time.

Trace file.

That was an excerpt of the trace file.

It seems that exactly where those error items (some excluded since it contained Account #'s and Account balance) occured is when the prices froze.

That was the excerpt from trace.20081022.txt

It seems if the Connection to Zen-fire has a momentary change the prices freeze with the example application I sent you.

Do you follow now?
