Is it possible to clear the log?

Should I be using the log for my application debugging? If so, can I clear the log? If not, what should I use?

Yes, you can use the Log-tab for this purpose, since it will display error messages which can indicate the issue.

You could clear the log by deleting the log file manually at My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->log.

I get an error that it's open in another program.

I'm using it for debugging and every time I run my program I have to scroll through the log to find my output. It'd be very nice if I could just delete the file or right click and select "clear".

Did you close NinjaTrader before deleting the log file? If not, please do so and check if the error persists.
