how can I make my NT8 treat entry orders independently?

Hello,

Hoping you could help clarify and probably it is something really simple; however, unable to fix on my own.

Problem:

1. I set initial trade in the DOM using ATM strategy for Stop (8 ticks) and Target (8 ticks) . Trade is entered and both orders perfectly submitted.
2. Later while being in the trade I see another opportunity and enter second trade using the same ATM strategy; however instead of setting Stop 8 ticks and Target 8 ticks away from the second entry it will just add to initial SL/TP level.

Please advise how can I make my NT8 treat entry orders independently? Thank you so much!

Hello Adilius,

To achieve what you described please following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode.

• Right click in in the SuperDOM
• Properties
• ATM Strategy selection mode
• Choose KeepSelectedAtmStrategyTemplateOnOrderSubmission from the dropdown window
• Click Ok

With this mode your positions will get their own stop loss and targets instead of being combined to an existing strategy. I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different ATM Strategy Selection Modes.
