Machine ID

I had my ninja trader 8 64 bit on a tablet but have now moved to my laptop, I tried to enable a strategy on the laptop but it wont work, could this be anything to do with my machine ID I had to enter on my account I had to enter? on the log it says I have entered a invalid license, this can't be the fact as it still works on my tablet still. any help gratefully appreciated

Glad to assist. What is the complete error note?

The machine ID could factor in if the error is regarding a custom indicator. These items are often licensed using the Machine ID, so you'll need to forward the new machine id to the vendor so they can license the addon to work on the new setup.

You don't have a valid license for moft tinnel auto trader contact your vendor, I thought this would be an issue as the machine id is entered on tunnel trader when I started

oh ok so you think the indicator wont work as it has a different machine ID linking the indicator, thank you I have messaged indicator provider, thank you

A bit strange, I have now moved my ninjatrader 8 to a VPS an done everything the same and I can't get it to work, it says user name or password is incorrect but I know it is right, any suggestions please?
