^SP500 doesnt fill from Yahoo

I followed the connection guidelines and it says i connect to yahoo when i select it, but my daily chart fails to load. Any ideas?

I suggest to close all charts before connecting with Yahoo and only have the Control Center opened.

Once connected open up your charts one by one and check if they populate with data.

In addition, the Yahoo feed only supports daily end-of-day data for equities as you can see at the link below.

Populating SP500 Chart from Yahoo

I found that the reason SP500 won't come up is that the ticker symbol listed in the Symbol Map for Yahoo is incorrect. It should be ^GSPC, not ^SP500. Changed to ^GSPC it comes up fine even though it is an index rather than an equity.

The Symbol Map is found by clicking Tools,Instrument Manager,Selecting SP500 from the Master list,Edit,and then Misc.
