do you have the chart or the price

        Hi Jason and K2again

i have the realtime on the French stocks on IB (Euronext basic Cash Levels 1&2),

i created on the Instrument Manager "Renault", the IB code is RNO, i selected "Default" AND "SBF" on the Exchanges and "RNO" on the symbol map for IB.

when i connect NT to IB, i can send orders (buy limit etc) from NT on the RNO and it send well the orders to IB... so it looks like i well created the stocks on NT and a link exist.

BUT... when i try to load a chart, i have the error "Error on loading chart data for 'RNO Default', Unable to load historical data: unknown instrument"

AND when i try to put "RNO" on the Market Analyser, i don't have any price...

So it looks like the stock is created but i don't receive the price and the historical data...

        Can you help ?
        Thx

          Hello Thomas79,

          Thanks for your post.

Please also ensure under Currency you have Euro selected.
If this does not resolve please write into platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com requesting a phone call to look into this further as we are not enabled for this instrument to test on our end.

ok i know why it is not working, because i had 2 data providers for stock.

I have just one now, Interactive broker for French Stock.

When I created a stock, on Exchange, I selected "Default" and "SBF", when i try to have the data from Default, it is not working, but when i ask the data with SBF this is working (on chart or on Market Analyzer)

I created a stock list with all the french stock with SBF as exchange, when i import this list on the "Strategies" tab to creat a strategy on all the French Stock, when i Enabled, i have the "Error on loading chart data for "EF Default"..."

i don't know why the strategy try to load the data from "Default" and not from "SBF"... on my stock list, I always select "SBF" as exchange

              Can you help ?

                Hello Thomas79,

                Thanks for your reply.

I would recommend adding them to your instrument list with the correct exchange selected so you can then select this from your list when adding a strategy
To do this go to Tools> Instrument Manager
Select the instrument you want to add and under Exchange select the desired exchange
Press the< button to add it to your instrument list

                  Hi Brandon,

thx for your quick answer BUT this is what i made.

I created an instrument list with the French stocks and select the "SBF" exchange (because if i select "Default" exchange it is not working, when i load a chart or i load the list to the market analyser)

BUT when i run the strategies on this instrument list, NT load the data from the "Default" exchange and i have the error message "Error on loading chart data for "Default"

the question is just, why when i create a instrument list with the "SBF" exchange NT load the "Default" exchange when i run the strategies from this instrument list (and unfortunately not the "SBF" exchange)

and then it is not working...

                  Can you help ?

Try direct route IB symbols in Ninja:

                    FP|SBF
                    BNP|SBF
                    ABI|SBVM
                    ASML|AEB

Ps. And test send order in paper trading account ( demo )

... direct route symbol give data and send order in primary exchange that you select |SBF, |AEB, |SBVM, this not SMART with ECN

And Ninja not work with European ECN http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=67813 who trade, UP this topic.

                                Hello Thomas79,

This message indicates that you are requesting too much data from IB at one time. Please remove instruments from any Market Analyzers you are using, reduce the number charts and SuperDOMs you have running, and reduce the number of tickers you have up in TWS. Then shut down NinjaTrader and TWS, wait 10 minutes for your data status to change with IB, and then retest.
