Reload Of Ninja 8

Had to reinstall windows 10 on computer. I have the old workspace files and other files in a seperate part of drive. Can I cut paste the files from there to the new ninja file to get my old workspaces and templates back?

Thank you for your post.

You may copy and paste workspace and templates directly into the NinjaTrader 8 documents folder.

Please note that it is always advisable to shut down NinjaTrader when editing files.

The Workspaces .xml template files may be placed in the file directory: C:/Users/<Your Username>/Documents/NinjaTrader 8/workspaces.

Other template files may be placed in the directory: C:/Users/<Your Username>/Documents/NinjaTrader 8/templates/<template specified folder>.

Thanks for the reply I copied the files over to where you said how do I point ninjatrader to find the workspaces?

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader 8 is already pointed to those directories.

If you do not see the added workspaces please restart NinjaTrader, the platform will need to rebuild the workspaces list to include the new files.
