Brokers and Data

Hello,

I'm a little confused which brokers are supported for both data and execution for NT7. I need Forex, Stock Indexes, and Futures/Futures Options. I will use futures data to drive my indicators for trading FX. And I would like to trade SPY, and therefore need stock index data as well.

With FXCM out of the picture for US customers now, who is supported?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

NinjaTrader Brokerage and Interactive Brokers are the supported futures brokerages.

TD Ameritrade and Interactive Brokers are the supported equity brokerages.

Forex is supported through NinjaTrader Brokerage and Interactive Brokers.

Options are not supported at this time.

Just out of curiosity, is the selection the same or different in NT8? I've been holding off porting all my code from NT7 to NT8 but if there's more selection in the newer platform maybe now is the time...

There are new connections always being added to NinjaTrader 8. In recent weeks/months NT7 has actually lost one or two. See the follow two links for the data offered by provider in each platform. This should help to see the differences .
