I am at my wits end with this program. Yesterday I was long in an equities trade and hit "REV" in chart trader. I usually use "CLOSE" to exit but yesterday the market was moving fast and I decided to give it a try. As usual I got a bunch of "order rejected for reason: must close before shorting...... I had to close out the orders manually and entered my position using a limit order.
I ran into these same kind of problems when I first tried using automated strategies. Due to this I have been using NJT strictly as a manual order entry platform through chart trader for the past couple of months now.
Am I the only one that has these problems? Is it because I only trade equities and NJT was written for futures trading? What is it that I'm missing?
