IB connected but auto strategy not working

I just purchased the license and first connected to Esignal (for data) then I connected to my IB Demo account (as per instructions) I then started my strategy (which I tested on market replay and work fine on replay).

I put up charts to make sure I could see that my strategies were triggering properly but I found that they did not trigger at all.
I made sure that the account was set to my live IB Demo account and all my strategies were properly started. Everything was connected fine.

Do I need to connect to my Actual Live IB trading account for my automated-strategies to send orders?

Please check the Log-tab and check if you see any error messages.

Did the strategy not work on one particular instrument or does it not trigger trades with all instruments?

I tried it today with my Live IB account and it worked as it was supposed to. I will update if any problems occur again or when I decide to use my IB Simulation Account.
