Missing E-Micro instruments?

I can't find the MNQ, MYM,MES, M2K in NT7...They're available in NT8.

I moved this topic to the NinjaTrader 7 Platform Support Forum. Regarding your inquiry, NinjaTrader has added the new micro e-mini futures instruments into the NinjaTrader database. The symbols are as follows:

• M2K = Micro E-mini Russell 2000 Futures
• MES = Micro E-mini S&P 500 Futures
• MNQ = Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures
• MYM = Micro E-mini Dow futures

NinjaTrader 8's database would automatically be updated with the new Micro Futures instruments. NinjaTrader 7's version would not change for this database update, but it would need to be reinstalled and its instruments reset.

Please repair install with the steps provided below. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, custom items etc. Please follow these steps:

• Copy your license key from the Control Center > Help > License Key window.
• Close all running applications.
• Make sure NinjaTrader is closed from the Windows Task Manager:
  • Press CTRL + ALT + DEL on your keyboard > Start Task Manager...
• Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features
• From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
• Restart your PC.

Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader from the link below:

(This is where you will need to input the license key to download)

Once done, to reset your instruments, please follow the steps below:

• Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
• Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
• Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection

Once the platform is restarted and reconnected, please let me know if the new instruments do not appear.

Also, for others reading this post...the MNQ is the Micro E-mini, not an E-Micro....so typing Micro in the description will bring all Micro & E-Micros up...
