What is this?

Hello,

when debugging scripts and running it on market-replay there appear the following "chart".

What is this please and why? Never seen this in 9 years with NinjaTrader.

Hello Tony,

The red x means that GDI+ rendering has crashed.

This can occur if an exception is hit in the Plot override of an indicator.

Do you have any indicators applied to the chart that override the Plot method?

Are you able to reproduce the behavior without any 3rd party or custom coded indicators applied to the chart?

(As a tip, NinjaTrader 8 does fully support custom rendering in OnRender() and instead of the entire chart not being rendered, it will only stop running the individual script and log the error)
