if I want to replicate ninjatrader drawing tool settings for linear regression line or channel indicator what period settings should I be using?

Hello Ali,

I'm not certain I am understanding what you are asking.

The RegressionChannel indicator included with NinjaTrader defaults with a period of 35.

i meant when we are using the regression drawing tool we are able to get regression line for a period of our own choosing. is there are a way we could achieve the same with an indicator instead of having to rely upon last 35 or 50 bar periods?

Hello Ali,

The ReggressionChannel indicator does allow you to set the period to any period you would like.

If you are only wanting to find a regression for a range of bars and not have this update on every new bar, then use the drawing tool instead.
