NT7 Market REplay not working

    NT7 Market REplay not working

    Downloaded data for MNQ for June and September 2019 contracts. Went to Market Replay, chart comes up but no movement when click start - even at 500x

    Right clicked and check data availability - nothing shows up
    Went to DB\Data - files are there with KBs - looks like data is there
    Tried reset instrument and restart NT - no luck
    Tried repair and reset DB - no luck

    Can you help?

    Please disconnect from the Market Replay connection and download the dates for the instruments that you want to replay to resolve.

      Hi Shawn

      I think the problem is a little more complex.

      I have downloaded data for the date range, "
      Downloaded data for MNQ for June and September 2019 contracts"


      Data is in my NT7 DB\Data folder
      Went to DB\Data - files are there with KBs - looks like data is there; and

      The chart loads all my indicators show for the period of replay

      The problem is the that the chart does not move when I click replay. I have check various things
      Tried reset instrument and restart NT - no luck
      Tried repair and reset DB - no luck

      as well as
      End session in template etc

      It looks like data download process has changed, there is no more L1 & L2 options
      Are there any process changes?

        Thank you for your post.

        The Market replay feature in NinjaTrader does not include an option to download a date range. The download replay data feature will only allow the user to download one day at a time. You could included an image to clarify how you are downloading a date range of replay data.

        TheL1 & L2 options have not changed in NinjaTrader 7. Please use the steps below to download replay data and resolve.

        NinjaTrader offers a limited amount of replay data free to download. Only the most common instruments are currently available.


        Notes:
        Record for market replay must be disabledfrom the Data tab of the Options menu before downloading replay data.
        NOT available when connected to the Market Replay connection.
        To download replay data:
        1. Select the File menu in the Control Center, select the menu item Utilities and select Download Replay Data... The Download Replay Data window appears.
        2. Select the instrument and date of the desired replay data and press the OK button to begin the download.




        The status of the download will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the Control Center.

        You can post images to clarify the steps you are taking and the behavior you are seeing if you continue to experience this behavior.
