Would NT DLL consume too much CPU resource?

If I create NT DLL objects on many eSignal charts, but seldom call those NT DLL functions, would they still consume significant CPU resource? Or if the EFS seldom call any NT DLL functions, would the CPU consumption be neglegible?

I would not imagine it to be that big of a hit unless you are talking about tons and tons of objects.
