    Don't see any strategy

I have imported historical data for a currency and wnated to test the backtest function.
I open the Strategy Analyzer and can see the 4 default strategies.
But if I select backtest for a symbol, the dropdown list for strategies is empty.
    Any idea why?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Did you import it like this: File>Utilities>Import.

Is it writting in NinjaScript? I won't show up if it is not written in NinjaScript.

You may want to do a file search from your windows start menu to find the file.

I imported the historical data not the strategy.

The strategies are the default ones like SampleMACrossOver so I guess they are written as it should.
Shouldn't I see this strategy in the list ?

        Hello,

Is the strategy button greyed out on your charts? (I realize you are working with the analyzer.)

Do you have the full list of indicators when you try to apply an indicator to the chart?

When you go to>Tools>Edit>Indicator>Select SMA>OK>right click within the code>compile, do you see a red error at the bottom?

          Yes the compilation works fine

FYI I am not connected to any account, I just want to test a strategy on historical data

            Hello,

Are you on a network server? If so:

            Also, try connecting.

Are you using a Dorman license?
