NT7 Instrum Mgr Palladium tick size wrong on Installation

A strategy trading Palladium just failed on IB with an error of "incorrect min tick size". The order was rejected by IB.

I looked into NT7 Instrument Mgr (see uploaded pic) and the tick size is 0.05. This value is the NT7 installation default.

The CME contract specs (see uploaded pic) shows Minimum price fluctuation as 0.10 http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/meta...fications.html

I haven't chg'd the tick size myself. NT7 installation set it by default to 0.05.

Can you pls confirm that NT Instrument Mgr tick size should be 0.10 to align it to CME contract specs ?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I agree that the tick size on the CME's website reports as 0.1 but the tick size for PA in NinjaTrader 7 and 8 lists the tick size as .05 by default.

I have submitted this to the Database Team for review.

If a change is made, NinjaTrader 8 will be updated on-the-fly. Unfortunately, NinjaTrader 7 does not have the capability of being changed without a new version, so the change would come when a newer version of NinjaTrader 7 is released.

For now, you can make the change to the tick size manually.
