Importing data from laptop to Desktop

I used my laptop last week for trading. Am I able to export the results, trades and import them into my Destop PC? I would also like them to show up on my charts as well if possible.

This is possible by creating a backup of your database and transfer the backup file to your desktop.

Please follow the instructions at the link below to create a backup file.

Transfer the file to the same folder (My Documents-->NinjaTrader Backup) on your desktop.

I followed these instructions and now I have lost the trade data on the PC and it has been replaced by the laptop data. It didn't seem to integrate them.

The procedure you do completely replaces things in your desktop's NinjaTrader with what was backed up from your laptop's NinjaTrader. It is not a merge operation, but a complete restore. Since you used your laptop's data it is natural that your PC will now show the laptop's trade history.

That is a shame. As now I have lost my data from the desktop PC to my last desktop backup.
A pity that was not explained in clearer detail. I wanted to merge the information from the laptop to the PC.
