second charts with IB

Hi,

Can NT retrieve historical data from IB for second (Ex. 5 sec, 15 sec, etc.) charts?

Can NT run back test studies and live strategies on second charts?

Tick data is used to create second charts in NinjaTrader. Unfortunately, as you can see at the link below, historical tick data is not supported with IB.

The only option to run backtests on second charts is to save incoming real-time tick data in the NinjaTrader database by enabling "Store real-time bar data" under Tools-->Options-->Data-tab.
