I've been paper trading and backtesting with Kinetick as my data feed and Interactive Brokers (simulated account) as a secondary connection. Now I'm ready to go live, but I'm having some trouble making it function.
I have a funded live account 100% ready with IB and everything is configured in NT8 to connect (passwords etc). I attempted to go live on Friday by 1st connecting to Kinetick and then connecting to the live IB account (instead of the simulated one I was connecting to before). I also had put my live login/pass in IB Gateway with no problems. As I traded, my Kinetick connected balance changed, but the IB one didn't move. This pretty much means I was not trading live.
What am I doing wrong?
