Is it possible to to buy to sell CAD in the USDCAD cross with IB as I have a cash account and through TWS I am able to select CAD and it converts to what I would buy in USD for me saving some time? Hoping it's available in NT 7

In the USDCAD pair, USD is the base currency and CAD is the quote currency. This means that you're seeing quotes for how many CADs per 1 USD.

I am not quite sure I understand what kind of tool you're looking for. You want to be able to enter, say, 100 CAD and it then tells you how much that is in USD? Could you elaborate further?

In any case, a built in conversion tool like this is not available in the platform, but could certainly be added through custom programming. Alternatively, you could use web-based resources for conversion.

I attached a file in what I am able to do in IB TWS
Notice that it states Buy to sell 58K CAD so it in fact converts 58K CAD to USD so I don't have to covert then submit a buy.

Thanks for the screenshots, A similar currency conversion tool or order quantity based on currency does not exist in NinjaTrader.
