It would seem you are looking for our indicator called DM. Can you apply the DM to your chart and advise if this is the indicator you are detailing in this thread?

That is indeed the Directional Movement Index created by Wilder and works perfectly in NT. What I am trying to figure out (out of curiosity) is: what is the DMI indicator in NT8?

Would appreciate if you can find an answer to that

Main difference would be the smoothing type, where the Wilders uses it's own exponential formula (that's what the DM / ADX uses), our DMI in contrast uses the standard SMA to arrive at DiPlus / Minus components.
