Should I be shutting off programs like windows defender, pc-cillin, firewall, malware protection??

Also, I ran Registry Booster program and deleted whatever it suggested and couldn't open Ninja. I had to do a system restore. Any ideas???

When you double click the icon nothing happens? If so, please revert from a 3.5 .NET functionality to a 2.0 .NET functionality here:

Re-installs

I did then windows reinstalled 3.5. I thought I turned off but taskbar kept popping up update.
