Hot Keys - Modal Focus

I enabled hotkeys, and created some. I can't seem to have a designated 'active' order window. I can mouse click on the buttons in the window, but none of the windows have the close button in red as shown in the help file.

I've tried various things, but not able to get the designation of active window.

Thanks for your post.

The active window is usually the window that was last clicked on and has the top most view. Are you saying that the hotkeys are not working on the order entry window that you currently have selected?
If this is not the case, please take a screenshot of what you are seeing and clarify further.

To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

I have it working now. I checked the log file to see if it was being triggered. And it was. I also deleted strategies in the control panel window.
