Incomplete Data

I am no longer getting complete data from BarChart for currencies in my charts. For the majority of bars with a period of less than 5 min (eg. 1 min bars) I get a single price for the bar instead of OHLC. It is as if I am only getting 1 min data in real time instead of tick data.

I tried repairing and then resetting the database all to no avail. What's going on here?

Unfortunately, this is as expected with BarChart. NinjaTrader acts like a radio receiver in that we display data as it is provided.

How can it be "as expected" that I should get real-time ticks 1 min apart?

Are you seriously trying to tell me that this is the best I can get from BarChart?

Currencies for BarChart is currently snapshot data (once per minute) this is even how it is marketed on their sign up page. They will be improving this in the future but for now, this is what you can expect. Other markets are real-time streaming data.
