Data feed when trade at Interactive brokers with NT7

I'm planning to trade futures at Interactive Brokers with NT7.

Data feed would be Kinetick or Continuum.

My question is "Do I need to subscribe data from IB same time ?"

If not, is there any inconveniences or problems to trade ?

If NT7 got hung and had to place an order directly into TWS, is there any problem?

Or is it better to subscribe data from IB only?

Thank you for your note.

If you connect first to your supplementary data feed such as Kinetick, you would not need to subscribe to the data on your IB account as well.

It would be a matter of preference as to which option would work better for you, I suggest reaching out to IB directly for any questions pertaining to their data or placing orders within TWS.
